What kinds of packages does ReturnDay pick up?
ReturnDay handles eligible online retailer returns using supported QR codes, prepaid return labels, or other approved return instructions. Our expanded service also includes properly prepared prepaid UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipments, including packages sold through eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Vinted, and similar marketplaces.
Package size, weight, value, shipping-method, and service-area restrictions apply. All packages must have valid instructions or prepaid shipping documentation.
Do I need to package everything myself?
For online returns, follow the retailer's instructions. Some returns may be accepted unboxed with an eligible QR code, while others require packaging and a prepaid label.
Outbound prepaid shipments must already be properly packed, sealed, and labeled according to carrier requirements. ReturnDay does not provide packing materials or purchase postage.
Can I combine returns and prepaid shipments in one pickup?
Yes. You can combine eligible online returns and prepaid UPS, FedEx, or USPS shipments in one pickup, with up to five total packages. All eligible packages count toward the same one-time pickup price or membership allowance.
One-time pickup pricing is $4.99 for one or two packages, $6.99 for three, $8.99 for four, and $10.99 for five.
How do I know my packages were dropped off?
ReturnDay documents your packages at pickup and sends a completion confirmation after delivering them to the appropriate retailer or carrier acceptance location. Available drop-off receipt documentation is provided when the destination supplies it.
Retailers and carriers control final acceptance, refund decisions, transit, and delivery timelines.
Where is ReturnDay currently available?
ReturnDay serves select addresses in Chicago’s southwest suburbs. Coverage is focused on approved residential neighborhoods and does not automatically include every rural address or property within the broader region.
Availability is determined by your exact pickup address. Use our address checker to confirm service before booking.
Do I need a membership to schedule a pickup?
No. One-time pickups start at $4.99 for up to two eligible packages, with a maximum of five packages per pickup.
For frequent pickups, ReturnDay membership is $14.99 per month and includes up to eight eligible packages per billing month, weekly pickup availability, and up to five packages per pickup. Additional eligible packages cost $2 each. Unused monthly allowances do not roll over.
Does ReturnDay deliver my package to the recipient?
No. ReturnDay transports eligible packages from your doorstep to the appropriate retailer or carrier drop-off location. For prepaid shipments, UPS, FedEx, or USPS handles transportation and final delivery after carrier acceptance.
